Arcade
Art & Design / Exhibition
Invited to present at Dundee Contemporary Arts Centre, Scotland, occupying the gallery’s main space with Arcade, an immersive solo show that reimagined key works from the history of fine art through a digital and spatial lens. The exhibition reworked familiar artworks into new audiovisual experiences, transforming painting, sculpture, and performance into systems of light, sound, and motion.
The project explored how historical works could be disassembled and reinterpreted as a synthesis of disciplines, where material, concept, and code meet. Each piece drew on the visual and structural DNA of minimalist Triple A artworks, yet reconstructed these as an expanded environment for contemporary inquiry. Arcade was both homage and experiment, asking how revisions can be a way of imagining the future, a conversation between past and the present through digital form, spatial and sonic design interaction.
